Overall Grade: Good

Comment: Typical for Tanzanian alexandrite-type color change sapphires, highly unpredictable and unique combinations of green and pink here, or purple to yellow there, plus a diagonal color-zoning effect that is only perceptible in combination with a change of light-source (hence strictly spoken it is not a color-zoning at all, but a multi-color with cc, go and figure that!). This gem combines more colors than I dare to start describing here, though I generally do not shy away from such a task, but here it is just too much. Still, we gave only a 'good' as overall grade and set it on sale for a strong silky crystal and a grayish undertone. That said, you get a freakishly unusual color-change in a certified unheated sapphire for a song and rescue 1000sqm rainforest on the side. Could be combined into earrings with equally adventurous but more perfect SCC091 (a crazy combo with similar face-up dimensions).
