Comment: Untreated sapphire with a lively deep-yellow sapphire day-color and a padaparadscha color at night, plus the many inbetweens. No window, no visible inclusions, no heat. At day, without warmer artificial light, it has all the charme of a natural yellow sapphire with a flash of pink or orange inbetween. In warmer light, it turns more and more orange with pink flashes getting stronger (see additional images). The longish oval will support larger ringsizes than usual in 1ct, say upto 6/7 but IMO is not well suited for a pendant. Tanzania has always produced these rare types of color change (normal being blue-purple). As always, color change is a tough show on photo but the more rewarding as a daily pleasure in the long run. Good sparkler, bright summer gem.
