Overall Grade: Very Good

Comment: Checkerboard cut hessonite, difficult to show on photo because facets tents to sit right in the middle or look off-centered on the side. Yet, this is also a concave cut, which makes for extra dense reflections (simply called lustre) from rounded flower facets in the back. Typical hessonite swirls add to the special effects. Does NOT look like photo on IGI report. See close-up for the inner structure. Deep orange in MD80 close to some milk chocolate with orange streaks from the concave cut. Precision cutting, always in concave, perfectly round, untreated, no window (I think never in concave). 11mm round will need a serious ringsize, over 9, better as pendant or better yet as a broche, mild but impressive appearance for matching fashion.
