Overall Grade: Excellent

Comment: Green sapphire with little yellow as secondary hue. Five carats is a serious size in any sapphire color but more so in a strong steady green. Plus there is none of the color zoning so typical in green, but an equally distributed fresh leaf hue. Almost lens clean. No blue, brown, purple or white silk. See backside images for more color unimpeded by its luster which rolls smoothly along the axis. No inclusions, no window, no treatments. 3Nos quality where the air gets thin amongst unheated sapphires. Remarkable rich steady hue with great crystal. No pale areas or dark corners. Turning golden green in low light. Efficiently cut with only 57% depth to the short axis but fully closed in the center. AIGS certified unheated. Never dark, never pale. With 11x8mm still a ring gem, at least over size 8 and of course pendant material.
