Comment: This may be the deepest blue Montana Sapphire that has ever been found. Comparable in character and appearance with Ceylon, but for an unheated Montana this colour strength is nothing short of an unprecedented miracle. See 'more images' where the growth-lines of the original crystal's centre are still visible (though they are not visible to the unaided eye). Precision cut, certified unheated, no window, no visible inclusions. Obviously a gem that asks for an individual design and unique taste when set in jewellery. Great for a gent's ring and a pride for any collection of unheated sapphires. This size and colour is a rare find in Montana, unheated almost impossible.
