Comment: Mozambique ruby in deep red, never black though, tone best captured in handshot. No inclusions visible without lens. Full ring size, no window, high-end traditional cutting significantly better than most, see side and back-images: symmetric and perfectly dimensioned. Twice certified as unheated ruby: IGI report with 'good color quality' and 'no-heat' and 'Mozambique'. GIA reports pure 'red' and 'East Africa (Mozambique)' and, of course, 'no heat' (wax is only a surface residue from cutting not an enhancement). This type of ruby never gets confused with pink sapphire or any other gem for that matter, no brown, little purple, less violet. Solid quality with zero flaws, still affordable while Mozambique produces. Prices go up every year by 25-33%, at the very least.
