Comment: Unheated ruby in rare emerald shape. Less included and less fussy than the images may suggest. Zero extinction in any light: always a deep rose red glow. Double report: IGI with 'good color quality' and 'Mozambique' and 'unheated' plus the big GIA report with pure 'red' and 'no-heat' and 'East-Africa' (wax is a residue from cutting, not an enhancement). Solid precise cutting as good as it gets in an emerald cut. Inclusions visible only under the lens or from the side (which does not count). Swirls of purple, pink and violet produce a color play in charming contrast to the 'linear' shape of the emerald cut. See side- and back-image with wave-shaped inclusion. Unique cut and shape in a world of mainly oval, cushion and round rubies.
