Comment: Full sized Mozambique ruby of the quality competing with Burma in all but price and fame. Uncommonly clean and uncommonly sparkly for ruby. Big face-up with 7x6mm but no window. Unheated of course. Of course there is always a better one (search for 'precision-cut' and Burma and free of inclusions and add one zero) but you are here safely in the top 1%. Note how luster adds a little purple from background reflections while without luster you see only pure red. These images are made in 'free-range' conditions, not in a light tent, hence they are captured as in daily life and each gem has its own character. GIA does not qualify its color descriptions, at GRS this is vivid red, at Lotus pigeon blood. Certified origin. Rare combination of fine color and full luster in ruby. Ring sizes up to 7. Sparkles enough without diamond-halo but could be set off with blue/green sidestones or halo.
