Comment: Often asked for, impossible to find: Small but perfect AND tested unheated sapphires. Over five carats the air is getting thin, everybody knows, but the same is true under 0.3 carats. Few small sapphires are properly cut, much less lab-tested for treatment. The reasons are obvious: Unheated sapphire are rare in any size, and there can be no mass market for rare products. (The diamond industry has always produced large quantities of tiny gems for jewelry and watches, but for unheated sapphires there is no such offer despite the demand. Where needed, uniform heated and synthetic sapphires are used instead). Here we have come across the exquisite chance to match a pair of small sapphires with full no-heat IGI reports. To my knowledge, only with us! One in pink and one in blue, for the sophisticated individualist. Naturally, they demand as much work and hence cost as much a slightly bigger pair would. Both are precision cut in brilliant round, free of inclusions, IGI tested for no treatments. No windows, no flaws. 3mm round as sidestones or studs for the demanding sapphire purist. As so often, the front images are overwhelmed by brilliancy, hence see the side-shots for better color impressions. Since both are such rarities in 3mm you will find single presentations as well.
