Comment: Identical twin oval cabochons, cut from translucent Vietnamese rubies. Purple-red in normal daylight, pink-red as soon as the sun is near (near, not necessarily sun shining direct on, but just around the corner). At bare $130/carat the most affordable certified unheated ruby available but obviously not glowing transparent bird blood colored but opaque-ish rose purple-red. Big enough to design fancy French shirt cuffs, extra posh earrings or use in bangles. Twice DSEF certified unheated translucent ruby, no nasty red surface fillers nor glued together ruby crumbs but serious sized natural ruby crystals from Vietnam shaped into single cabs with even color distribution, no ugly spots or cracks, only fine natural growth lines.
