Comment: A rarity, proudly presented: The only round precision cut unheated and clean ruby over two carats in the world! This is a sparkly deep purple red ruby, precision cut by Peter Torraca (down from 3+ carat, which must be considered in the pricing). Inclusions are visible only under the lens. Perfect dimensions, no window, huge face, full blast luster. Never pink, never dark, no brown, never dull. See more images with white background and in near darkness, from a distance and playing with either red or purple as dominant hue. Rich color, not a flashy neon but a sink-deep dreamy purple red. Double no-heat report. A pride in our not tiny stock of unheated rubies. See also the pre-recut report at 3.15 carat (click for bigger size) with origin and 'pink-red'. I take a bet, there is no other in the world: $100 in cash if you do find another with similar features, over two carat, precision cut, unheated and clean. P.S. After this gem was presented, I published the above bet on various social media - some have tried to claim the reward but so far no luck: only cabochon qualities or not precision-cut or heated ruby etc. etc.
