Overall Grade: Good

Comment: A pretty good star in a wintery grey-ish blue sky. Less vivid colored than in the main image, where the day-light torch adds too much blue-wave-light but shows the star as good as it is IRP. The true body color is best seen in the handshot. There, too, the star is well visible which is a rare sight without torch, even if one ray seems missing (it's not), but many other light-sources are around in such a daylight indoors photo and most stars get fussy then. Hence, a good star in a typically weaker color in these blue star-sapphires. Round at first (and second) sight, flat back with no lost weight, offering 6mm round from only 1 carat to pay for. A little grey schmutz is visible only under the lens and our close-up images, not to the unaided eye. IGI report, free transport, 1000sqm of rainforest, and much more is included in the shy price. As a rule, stars, cat's eyes, color-changers etc. are valued primarily by their 'special-effect', therefore you get a good deal of star for little dough.
