Comment: This is the biggest and last gem from our Winza parcel. A violet band, at times visible to the trained eye, is proof of its unheated status even for the non-gemmologist. With 7mm diameter and 1.65 carat a significant size in unheated ruby. Never pink, never dull or dark. Lively sparks in good light, dripping with colour in low light or UV. Zero black-out. Great value in a full sized certified unheated ruby. Not for the perfectionist but much better than most, plus this ruby is the real thing, untreated and natural with no compromises. No ruby is like the next one, but this rare round has its own violet signature. NOT a flaw for the individualist but a plus.
