Comment: Beautiful and utterly unique Tanzanian sapphire with metallic green and blue playing catch in a fine crystal. Though 'only' hand-cut it deserves an 'excellent' in cutting grade. May be called teal blue or dark cyan. Far from the beaten path of blue sapphire but no less fascinating and pretty. 3Nos quality = no window, no inclusions, no treatments. In full light moving into blue, while darker settings bring out more green, but still on the blue side. What looks like a little blemish on backside image is only a inward surface crystal. Big face-up but perfectly closed center, not even a tilt window, outstanding cutting. This color play between hues is typical for Tanzanian sapphires, but rare enough that it has not produced its own name or marketing. Solitaire ring size up to 6.
