Comment: Beautiful, always different, from sapphire blue to flowery violet, purple and light green at times. Like the others from this parcel, the cutter did a wild but effective job, pressing depth to produce dense hues and more luster than common. See the sideimages, with the legendary pleochroism of zoiste, splitting light into different colors, changing with viewing angle. Unheated tanzanites, strictly speaking untreated zoiste, have gained well deserved attention lately, each like an ever-work-in-progress aquarelle of watery landscapes. No inclusions, no window, no treatments. Mild but sparkly.
