Comment: Great luster and full color in blue body with green, violet and purple moving from facet to facet. See handshot and full sized images for the zoisite typical petrol effect. Blue zoisite is called tanzanite. Cannot and does not want to compete with the treated blue commonly connected to tanzanite. 3Nos quality, no window, no inclusions, no treatments. Flawless hand-cut. Full sized gem for rings over 6 or 7, and up to 9. As all gems used in daily wear it needs protective settings, even diamonds wear off over time, and zoiste is relative soft, plus trillions are exposed on their corners. No worries in a pendant but in a ring the corners should be covered which means either v-shapes prongs (very elegant but master work for goldsmiths) or a bezel. Rare color strength in untreated zoisite with petrol effect as visible add-on.
