Comment: Classic blue-green tourmaline in square shape. This cut is not done for sparkle but for colour (emerald has little brilliancy but all colour). As the images show the stone exhibits vertical (or horizontal, depending on where you stand) lines in different hues. These are not colour-zones but only variations of tone due to the cut, giving an always fresh look in different light situations (for fun: see other images). Flawless quality from Afghanistan. No inclusions what-so-ever. Bargain in the ever tighter tourmaline market. No window. With 6.5 x 6.5mm a good face-up even for a gent's ring.
