Comment: Deep-green brilliant cut tourmaline. This is unusual because brilliant cuts are rarely done for dark stones but usually for sparkle effects in brightly toned stones (diamond etc). Hence you can here get the best of both worlds: a brilliant sparkle in a dark stone (if that is what you're looking for). Green only, no yellow, brown or blue. Absolutely clean, untreated and precision cut. As you see in the handshot this is really the darkest of all greens, but it always remains green even under little light, while with good light it sparkles with lush green. Not your standard green tourmaline but unique and full of character. Can make a pair with RDT186 as sown under more images.
