Comment: Kenyan demantoid showing a variation of fine greens, from mint and grass-green to an emerald-style hue, and far less, almost no, yellow. Other than on the images, it is 80% green in person. Demantoid's specific dispersion (en par with diamond) splits light into color zones (blue/yellow) while the eye perceives this as luster with the rainbow effect reserved for only other a few high-luster gems (sphene, sphalerite, diamond). Precision scissor cut optimize this performance here. Near two carat is a serious size in demantoid. Will do best in white gold or platinum. Sizes up to 8 in a ring and not too small for a pendant. No window, no visible inclusions, no treatments. High end gem in luster and color quality.
