Comment: This Beryl, aka Morganite, has not been radiated for it's light pastel pink hue but comes from unaltered African rough. The concave cut (inwards rounded facets) adds extra luster and also gives the tender pink a better visibility. As in most natural Morganite, this is not a strong hue but nevertheless immediately detectable. Big gem with 11x10mm face-up. Ethereal crystal, free of inclusions. Needs a full ring size, over 6. Will combine well with both, yellow or white gold and of course platinum. Prices of platinum, at least for jewelry, have leveled with 18k gold hence many chose the more endurable and lustrous platinum these days. See back- and side-image for more color impression.
