Overall Grade: Very Good

Comment: A magic gem of deepest purple with a blue band showing in flashes depending on light and angle. Needs light to show its colors (as in images) and is then most captivating. In low light it turns to black opal on bolder with a purple sheen. Unique opal for a gent's ring or a pendant. Carat weight is secondary with 12x10mm just the right size to catch ones eye but nothing too 'bolder' about it. See side image with the slimmest (white) base. Always more to discover and not giving it away too easy. All images shot under artificial day-light. Dark magic for the connoisseur.
