Comment: This boulder opal contains an aquarium with UV-type lightning over a neon purple landscape with all types of color effects in a seemingly empty space. Even the close-ups don't fully catch the magic happening in this small but endless cosmos. Without lens, the eye perceives neon purple flashes running up and down the length of the gem. Under the lens, the purple lights reveal a fantastic landscape without parallel. Of course, every wild opal worth his salt, bolder or matrix, surprises with his own magic, but the disco-lights on this piece reminded me of a psychedelic experience long forgotten. The off-standard shape demands a truly creative setting or hidden in a drawer can be used to administer short color-trips, mental holidays without the risk of longlasting psychosis or nauseating side-effects, legal or illegal.
