Comment: New in our stock, Brazilian Carnelian, a gem that comes in colors between dark mud and red and pale rose. This is an apricot red orange with a unique gleam. Due to low gravity even bigger looking than 6 carats would deliver in dense stones. Use a piece of paper cut into 15x10mm to judge size on hand. Big enough for a pendant, or a posh ring above size 8, or if you consider impressive earrings, ask us for a pair. Such Carnelian is not treated but left lying in the sun after mining. We consider this not a treatment. Color is stabile after sun bath. Durable for jewelry. IGI report. Free of inclusions or flaws, in and outside. Never dull or pale, but always color true in that earthy red-orange. Very pleasant to the touch. One image shows perfectly shaped and polished backside (no rough underside). Pair here.
