Overall Grade: Good+

Comment: Almandine-Pyrope garnet in deep red. It comes with 'rhodolite' report but IMO may lack the pink for that class. However, a seriously big red gem in pendant size and shape. No inclusions even under the lens. No window. The main image shows the strictest test for a window: (invisible) white letters behind the gem. In Medium Dark 80 some black-out collects in the tip but pays off with the deepest red imaginable for the main body. Always lively with red sparks even in this tone and low light. Little purple as secondary hue, mostly red and never pink. Perhaps the last affordable option amongst red gems of full size. Will work with yellow or white gold, but you may consider rose gold for a unique and pleasing color combination.
