Comment: From the new apatites out of Sri Lanka. This neon green is biting at many Paraiba's heels. Little blue, or practically none, in the green and therefore trusted to be unheated (though unheated blue specimens have been reported as well but cannot be tested, yet). Flawless local hand-cut, no window, no visible inclusions, with only one (1) colorless bubble visible under the lens (and in our 6fold magnified images if you look long enough). A completely unknown gem variety just a few years ago, apatite has gained lots of traction on the web. The neon blue versions, often mis-sold as paraibas, are possibly heat-treated but only that, to my current knowledge, not radiated or diffused or such misery. This 1.65's color is even better than on the images. Durable enough for protected jewelry and surely good enough looking, it is advisable to snatch one before somebody pulls them through the marketing wringer and they become expensive, probably then under a catchier name :-)
