Comment: Lively chrysoberyl mixing fresh green into a sunflower yellow. No brown, no grey, no flaws. Perfect proportions, full size. One inclusion may be visible under the lens and under 50 years. Locally cut with remarkable precision, not a computer based perfection but the result of steady hands, and I assume, youngish eyes, well maintained if simple machinery, and most importantly love to details and their flawless execution, a.k.a. an excellent work attitude. Sparkly, no window, no treatments, and no (eye-visible) inclusions, or in short: 3*NOS quality. Fine rough material, an excellent work attitude and ability (unfortunately the one does not guarantee the other to the great suffering of all involved), 3*NOS allow for an 'excellent' as overall grade. Over the years chrysoberyl has slowly improved its image and stepped out from being only NOT-alexandrite to a durable gemstone with nice colors and frequently good clarity. Still a bargain compared to similar corundum, untreated topaz, let alone diamond.
