Comment: This is the other side of fine hessonite which I mentioned before (compare with CHES253), the red-orange type, glowing and glittering in all light-settings and never blacking out. A few colorless bubbles, a familiar interior feature in all hessonites, become visible only under a lens, as does the defining (not only familiar) swirling liquid-like crystal. Its hand-cut is as perfect as they come, no window, no treatments, give us 3*NOS, the highest possible quality in all gemstones (opals, pearls and some excluded. It must be said that this color is more frequently found in hessonite, though usually with more or less brown: but NO brown in this 2.03 carat. Still, this red-orange variety is less expensive than the bright golden one, and a very different character, mystic and often requires a second viewing. It sparkles and glows like the last moments of a golden sunset, but reveals its full body-color only under longer inspection. The images capture the beauty of the gem quite realistically. Comes with all WildFish perks, full lab report, free shipping, WLT purchase and all else.
