Comment: A wave of red sparks runs up and down this pear-shaped rhodolite, reliable in all but the blackest blackness. In the images it looks like a yellow line or dots, IRL those sparks are a row of magically deep-red glitter. Obviously, this is a deep-toned gem with dark areas under normal light conditions. From Medium-Dark 85 we don't expect a through-and-through red gem but the ever-beckoning wave of 'Here-I-Am' sparks catches room-wide attention. Typical garnet from Ceylon (not the brown-red type from Brazil), with purple as secondary hue, though far less than the mind-boggling east-African rhodolites with neon purple at the front and red as a 2nd hue; plus a very different price-tag. This big pear shape will make a serene pendant, visible with 14x9mm, elegantly understated in its low tone, never pushy. No treatments, no window, no inclusions.
