Comment: Silimanites have been around as cat's eyes for a while but these transparent gems are a novelty. Neon lime yellow in its extreme. The distanced handshot under 'more images' captures well how powerful this 1+ carat gem shines and glitters. This gem here is almost as deep as it is wide (97% depth). While this is not a text-book depth it gives the color extra oomph. Set in a high-up tiffany dome, it will do wonders. Be prepared for many questions. 100% clean, untreated, no window, precise cutting (though deep). Extra strong luster, intense color, durable and not yet expensive - what more may we ask for?
