Overall Grade: Very Good+

Comment: Finest pastel pink spinel with a tidy crystal. No inclusions, no window, not treatments. 3NOs quality. While Lavender pink, to my understanding, involves purple as 2nd color, pastel pink means not-neon pink, but still pure and dense. Also, not moving into red, which many so-called 'hot-pinks' tend to do. Flawless hand cut with fine polish. What looks like inclusions on the backside image (at 36magni) sits on the surface, and does not count as inclusion, and is anyways not visible from the front (from where all grading is done). Elegant cushion shape. Still a mild pink, but very visible. Ever more sought after and pricey type of spinel, following behind pink sapphires with three or four years distance. Fills a size 7 ring as it is, size 8/9 with halo. Will match both yellow and white gold, or platinum.
