Comment: How green is that? Only chrome tourmaline can do this. Tsavorite can be equally stunning, but it is a brighter, more neon colour. IGI certified (not only wished-for) chrome tourmaline. This mega-deep-green is tourmaline-only. Our close-up brings out what you see under the lens and in good light, so please study the handshot to adjust for Medium Dark 80. This is a remarkable pure green with no yellow, no grey, no blue. Never black but as dark as it gets. No inclusions under the lens. This stone was cut about a century ago with good results (big face, no window) and you can see it is a hand-crafted item. One natural surface dent stays invisible to the eye and does not count as inclusion. Terrific colour-gem (as opposed to a lustre-gem) for the collector or as a magnificent stone for a high-end ring.
