Comment: The most famous cat's eye variety from the most famous origin for the mother of all cat's eyes. The ray here is broader and shinier than in most others, a broad silver band, highly visible in any and every light, almost centered, with just 10 degrees off (we accept rays up to 30 degree off center). Pleasant roundish shape with a totally flat, zero weight, backside leaving us 6x5mm to show off but only one carat to pay for. See, under more images, the shot with the light falling in sideways, leaving one part of the gem transparent and one side milky, this is sometimes called 'milk & honey'. Remarkable in this cat's eye is, as visible in the handshot, how big and intense shining the ray gets even without a concentrated light source; so much so that the camera blurs the reflection and the whole gem seems to become one shiny silver ball. The eye can distinguish the ray but it truly is very broad and almost aggressive compared to others (some are only a milky veil). If you don't care much about an extra sharp ray but rather want an always-visible ray, this should be your cat's eye. The body color moves between bright pistachio green and liquid honey brown (plus the shiny silver autobahn). Unique and easy on the budget without visible flaws but extra strong ray.
