Comment: Every color-changer is different, and it takes patient study to note the differences. Such study should be a pleasure not a burden. However, discovering the beauty in each gem is not a question of wielding different light sources, your fingers locked to a lens and tweezers. What you must invest, if patience and study is not your strong side, is plain good time. Wearing a color-changer and checking it regularly for its current 'mood' will, over-time, teach your eyes the same knowledge pure study would. One light-setting at a time, you will discover what makes these gems the most expensive types in every variety, be it alexandrites in chrysoberyl, CC in sapphire or garnets. This 1.43, the biggest gem in our parcel of Tanzanian CC garnets, differentiate itself by a less dramatic change but a particularly beautiful color spectrum in all light settings. As the images realistically show (we tell you when not), all color-combinations, in all light settings, are intense vivid, from neon bluish purple to a deep almost red pink. In low light the gem sparkles with the deepest purple and red your may have ever seen. 3*NOs to fulfill our quality standard: No windows, no inclusions, no treatments. As the main image and handshot shows, this garnet is always a beauty, with the color-change an extra shooting-star on your firmament.
P.S. Check this 1.37 as a potential partner for a round precision-re-cut pair.
