Overall Grade: Excellent+

Comment: Considering the fact that this Demantoid comes from Namibia and not from Russia, and its remarkably vivid green with only the slightest hint of yellow (which tends to show extra strong on image but hardly to the eye) makes it even rarer. With over two carats in round shape, we move into the top echelons of world-class gems. Precision cut, no visible inclusions (lens only), untreated, no window and full brilliancy, this is one of our best-ever Demantoids (the Russians included). If suns were green, this is the way they would break over the horizon. Greatest stuff! As good as it gets.

P.S. Coming from Russia does not automatically mean a demantoid is of super quality. There too they have many duds and flawed gems. This 2.01 belongs into the global top-1% creme de la creme, nevermind the origin.
