Comment: While classified as Indicolite, this blue tourmaline shows the strongest secondary green. As many tourmaline it is a metallic hue, as opposed to flowery or warm. Although under one carat, the face up, over 7x4, is worthy of two carats, without window (which is the usually the trade-off). This thanks for a dark tone and dense crystal. Rich color-stone, in classic cut. Such a shape and cut is always color (not luster) oriented. Nevertheless, it gives a full refection at the right angle. Will fill a size 6 ring or a pendant which is rare for under a carat. In either case, the sharp corners should be protected from wear and tear. The flat profile would allow a bezel setting for a ring without raising the ring shape and still protect the corners.
