Comment: Look good? They are! The photos were taken with a simple camera on a late spring afternoon, sunny day, indoors, no tricks. Precision cut to match from the same mine run (see 100% identical dimensions!). This certified classic Malaya color is a deep earthy mix of orange and pink. Do not think 'padparadscha', these garnets are of a very different hue, more like the inside of a glowing volcano than a sunset. Similar to hessonite or other spessartites Malayas have a fine needle structure that make them shimmer but not look included (at least not in this top quality). Not a flashy gemstone at first sight, but beauty unforgotten once seen. No colorshift, no bleeding in tungsten light, always holding the rich hue.
