Comment: Bright pushy green grossularite garnet, aka Tsavorite or in its brighter shades Merelani, this 2.46 with an AIGS report as 'tsavorite'. Never pale, never dark, extra sparkly. See extra sideimages for additional color conviction. Extremely rare size in this variety (all over one carat is considered BIG). Scares the faith out of green diamonds. Always better than image, see hand shot: Blazing neon. Precision cut, free of inclusions, untreated, no window, though the cutter has made the maximum to trade us 9x7.5mm from two and a half carat with little depth, hence the easy tilt-window in some images but none in the straight view (ask if unclear). With tsavorite over one carat being considered big and over two a rarity, the face-up size of this gem is spectacular.
