Comment: The color of this giant beryl is best shown in the images on wood (main image).  A bright lemon with a tint of green. Like other beryls (emerald or aquamarine) these gems are durable for jewelry but softer than e.g. sapphire and thus best protected in a setting or used in a pendant, which is size appropriate as well. Good luster from a flawless handcut. Do not underestimate its size, even for 11 carat, this is a big gem. Definitely an eye catcher not only by size but also the fresh color and brilliancy. 3NOs quality with no window, no inclusions, no treatments. The hazy sheen in handshot is only reflection from the background. The crystal is clear and clean.
