Comment: Another marvelous red Garnet, this time in an uncommon Emerald-cut. Dark red with a refreshing tint of orange, not brown, which is the bane of such Garnets. The Emerald cut, in this color, aside from being perfectly executed, gives the gem a lovely and rare character (will remember next time when we have choice of cut with dark red rough). Of course, emerald-cuts are not done to blink and glitter, but mainly to show off the rich hue with a good bling here and there. If that hue is as pretty as here, then it makes a good combination. Thus, when considering this gem as a future partner in your daily life, note the handshots and be aware that this is Medium Dark 75, the deepest shade in the middle ground, loving light, before we officially go into dark gems with MD80. No window, no inclusions, no treatment, full IGI report, precision cut and home delivered with a piece of jungle (the latter only symbolically not physically :-)
