Overall Grade: Very Good

Comment: Brightest neon blue green in scissor precision cut. Possibly more blue than green but AIGS classified as green tourmaline, not indicolite. Either way an ethereal bright hue with a paraiba-style glow. Tiny inclusions are lens-only. As many scissors cuts, it (too) easily displays a geometric (tilt) window. Therefor, despite this is being a precision cut, it does not earn an 'Excellent' in cutting grade. Untreated Mozambique tourmaline clearly from the copper bearing tourmalines that have taken the paraiba brand. Testing for copper would however distort the price under one carat, and in any case copper-content alone does not guarantee neon colors. Images hold more truth. With 6x5mm big enough for rings under size 5, and thanks to color magic also a candidate for a delicate pendant on a short chain.
