Overall Grade: Very Good

Comment: Metallic green with a tint of blue, the 'metallic' and 'blue' pushing it away from 'mint green'. Free of inclusions, untreated and without window although it is sensible to tilt and should therefor be set in a fixed position (when in a pendant which is with 14mm length the obvious choice). Old report can be replaced at cost basis but little new will be revealed. Well cut in a pleasing and symmetric shape. Color is more important than luster as in all pear shapes. Note under 'more images' how a set of deeper colored inclusions (lens only) break light in the round section, although only with light falling in from the side. Dark tips are an optical effect in all pears, not the result of color zoning. Value tourmaline in full size and without flaws.
