Comment: A dark night sky, a pale moon, blinking stars, a gem big as a desert. Moonstones are members of the feldspar family, which soon will need its own page with ever more rarities coming in from around the globe. This gem is blessed with a four-rayed star and at the same time displays the 'moon-effect' called aventurescence. The original IGE report attests to both phenomena, as well as its untreated state. So far, the biggest moonstone we could find, dark but translucent (see more images), and a silvery sheen under the surface. An interesting study for the gemologist and a daring pendant stone. All our gems buy a plot of rainforest protected by WLT, include free shipping, the scanned lab report, and all other WildFish perks. See the image with light shining through the gem, an interesting effect.
