Comment: Green is the rarest color found in sunstone; 'rarest' does not necessarily mean most popular, which would be red, but the gemologically rarest sunstone is green, thus, a copper-bearing labradorite feldspar in GREEN is a collector item formost. Other than most of his fellow specimens, THIS green gem is also a pretty sparkler sweetening rarity with beauty (more often found vice versa but then not published as gemstone but rarther as a rare mineral). Its copper strands add a silvery glitter to the bright crystal. Note that this sunstone brings 10x10mm to the table with only three carats, a feat made possible by the perfect use of its combination of RI and RG by the precision cutter: figure out why during the long winter days as the new Corvid-wave will shush us into lock-down again,  - oh, what a fun this is going to be! Precision cut in Germany, certified by GIA in Carlsbad. In some light (e.g. in the GIA pic or in our mirror image) the gem can also turn aggressively green but I have not yet understood how and when. Utterly clean and sparkly. A great pendant gem for the collector who wants, for a change, one of the rarest to carry with him/her in jewelry. Check the orderly lines in the reflections on the handhsot with a magnifier-funktion hidden in the basic tools of your user settings (depending on the version and system your PC or mobile runs on: I found mine only this month under Win10's Pro Microsoft Office extras).

Here is an GIA update on Oregon Sunstones.
