Comment: Finding 'excellent+' gems is always challenge, matching two for a pair is one of those little miracles exciting even experienced traders. Usually they are not accidental finds but cut to match from the same rough. These 7mm square scissor aquamarines warrant a row of 'extra fine, immaculate and flawless' in their description, each setting an as-good-as-possible rank in their dimensions. Why not a double '++'? For a '++' we'd need an extra '+' in color. Even with all other features immaculate, color is the one dimension where no upper limit is possible. A precision cut can be perfect, clarity is limited at 'free of inclusions'; only color can lift a gem above and beyond all its competitors. As with any gem, there always is a better one imaginable, though a double '++' marks the end of (my) imagination. Note, that the images with one aqua in front is repeated with the OTHER gem set in the front, for you to compare and seek for differences, if you can find any, that is. The 'Medium 50' blue is pure, without or very little green, no grey, and not of the aggressive pool-type, but more the calm and clean fresh-water type of a cold lake or river (as opposed to e.g. 15ct). Hence these two will produce natural-looking jewelry, calm and sparkly but not pushy characters. With white-gold or platinum, many different designs can be developed, from simple studs with one tip connecting to the pole (not the center) to lavish halo-creations glittering under a row of white or deeper blue, calibrated gems. Let us work it out.
