Comment: From our relentless global hunt for untreated blue topaz, here we have a pair of light blue emerald-cuts from Australia. Inclusions are visible only under the lens. Extremely rare natural occurrence whose path we have followed from the tinted natural rough to the lightly coloured end-product. Double AIGS certified. In the world of diamonds their blue would qualify as "fancy light blue", meaning they'd cost a fortune. Not terribly cheap as topaz either (with $650/ct), less than untreated imperial topaz but more than natural white, yet considering the work and hundreds of carats of misinterpreted white rough that goes into such a pair they are worth every single dime and their rarity matches that of blue diamond. No window, no treatments, no inclusions, fully certified and home-delivered.
