Overall Grade: Very Good

Comment: These are fire opals from Welo with a bright yellow body color plus green and orange in flashes and ribbon. The classification 'fire' as opposed to 'precious' helps on the budget but does little harm in person. The main difference is the crystal density and the amount of blue and red in the color play. So, depending on your taste fire opals may be just right with less showy effects but still all the beauty of opal fire play. One may call these 'calmer' or 'steadier' in appearance than e.g. POP203. Surely destined for a earrings with the backside left open to allow to allow as much light as possible to pass. As mentioned elsewhere, decorated bezels do extra well with these opals.
