Comment: Pairs of indicolites are perhaps the most difficult matches to make (humans and padparadschas aside). The blue in tourmalines that makes them 'indicolites' is always a mix with green as far as I can remember (never pure blue). You are correct to remark that other pairs also depend on color-mixes but indicolites seem to involve a special 'problem'. True blue tourmalines without much green are horribly rare for themselves (like paraibas or even chrome tourmalines if we want to stay in the same group). Finding a matching set of indicolites that passes a common pair-test (mix and later tell them apart without a carat balance) is a type of gem-hunt which I only accept on a generous budget (in time and $). These two, round-brilliant precision-cut indicolites, with beautiful (and even more photogenic) 100% matching colors, cuts, sizes, etc., fulfilling our '3*Nos of Excellence'.

P.S. ... 'even more photogenic' means they look great on any and all photos.
