Comment: A purple so deep that red is close at hand. Like some ruby splitting violet for the camera. Free of inclusions, double certified, perfectly cut to match. As the photo's show we get close to Medium Dark 80 here, though not quite yet. Surprising colour density. Rhodolite are one of the most famous garnets for good reason but their new Tanzanian gems break the boundaries. Naturally these two are meant to become earrings (dangling under a single diamond or white topaz) or sidestones, say around a brightly coloured merelani garnet. Alternative to ruby, affordable but without any compromises whatsoever.
