Overall Grade: Excellent

Comment: A pair of neon red-pink rubellite cut to match from the same long crystal rough. While baguette cuts can not make for incremental inner sparkles, these two make a good show with colorful full-body reflections. On camera they then show as pink flashes of light, see 'more images'. When left to move in earrings this is as good or better than luster. 'Deep pink' as per IGI, which is 'red' for many. No visible inclusions, no treatments, tilt-window is common in baguette (one lengthy stripe switching on and off when seen from an angle). Almost identical face-up dimensions, always better than identical weight in pairs. 6x4mm is a fantastic yield for 0.6ct (12x8 for 1.2 but that's not fair), in any case each is worthy of a one carat stone, thanks to the slim backside.
