Overall Grade: Very Good

Comment: Long and slender pear-shaped green tourmalines for dangling earrings. 100% color-ID and cut-to-match from same rough. With near 13mm length these two are remarkable even for often lengthy tourmaline crystals. Untreated, free of inclusions, although with a sensitive tilt window which was hard to avoid in this length. Should be set with the least visible structure, perhaps only with three prongs (one v-shape) and one bar behind to give them the most free-floating charme. The green shows no yellow, leaving a metallic pure green character. Will make very elegant yet never obtrusive jewelry, either in yellow or white gold. Timeless classic jewelry, never available off the rack.
